Production / Packaging Associate
Shift Options:
6:00 AM 2:30 PM
7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay: Starting at $17.50 per hour
Location: On-site
Status: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator / Packaging Associate to support our extrusion and packaging operations. This role is responsible for inspecting, measuring, packaging, and preparing extruded materials for shipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Move, inspect, and package full-length extrusions
Perform visual quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
Measure materials using tape measures and other tools
Weigh products using scales and verify accuracy
Perform basic calculations using a calculator or computer system
Read, complete, and maintain production and quality paperwork
Enter basic data into computer systems as required
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Assist in other departments and perform additional tasks as needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Strong attention to detail
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior manufacturing or packaging experience is a plus, but not required
