Arrow Staffing is now hiring for a Shipping Clerk in a well-established wholesale distributor that has been proudly serving the Landscaping and Gardening industries for over 35 years. As a Shipping Clerk, you ll ensure the accurate and efficient shipping of products, playing a key role in daily operations.
Location: San Bernardino, CA.
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30am 4:30pm
Pay: $18/hr.
This is a Longterm, Temp to Hire opportunity that comes with a pay increase at the time of hire!
Responsibilities:
Package and label products for shipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Verify and record incoming/outgoing shipments; inspect for damage or discrepancies.
Use shipping software to generate labels, track shipments, and update inventory.
Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers to ensure timely transport.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve shipping issues.
Maintain shipping records, including bills of lading and packing lists.
Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies.
Keep the shipping area clean and organized.
Follow safety guidelines when handling heavy or hazardous materials.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Shipping/warehouse experience required.
Familiarity with shipping software and label generation.
Basic knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Computer proficiency (MS Office).
Good communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to work independently and in a team.
