Estimator (Aerospace Manufacturing)

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

• Compensation: $90,000 $110,000 annually (salary)

• Location: Riverside, CA

We re seeking an experienced Aerospace Estimator to develop accurate, data-driven cost estimates for complex sheet metal, machined, welded, and assembled components. This role plays a key part in supporting pricing strategy and production planning through careful analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined cost modeling.

Position Summary

The Estimator is responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for aerospace sheet metal, machined, welded, and assembled components. This role focuses heavily on internal collaboration, data analysis, and cost modeling, with minimal direct customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Generate detailed cost estimates for aerospace manufacturing projects

Analyze drawings, specifications, and bills of materials

Evaluate labor, materials, machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and outside processing costs

Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate pricing

Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records

Support continuous improvement efforts related to pricing accuracy and efficiency

Required Qualifications

5 10 years of estimating experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment

Proven experience estimating sheet metal, machined, welded, and assembled parts

Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and cost drivers

Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and specifications

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
