Warehouse Order Picker
Position Summary
The Warehouse Order Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring on-time delivery in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pick customer orders using pick lists, RF scanners, or voice systems
Accurately select products and quantities according to order specifications
Package, label, and stage completed orders for shipping
Verify items, quantities, and condition before shipment
Perform basic inventory checks and report discrepancies
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and warehouse policies
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed (receiving, stocking, loading)
Schedule
Monday Friday (schedule may vary based on operation)
Overtime may be required during peak periods
Pay
Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Qualifications
Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred, but not required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Basic math and reading skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
