Job Description
Job Title: Powder Coating Technician 2nd Shift (2:00 PM 10:00 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coating Technician with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in powder coating applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and inspecting metal products to ensure high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and clean surfaces for powder coating.
Set up and operate powder coating equipment.
Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently on metal parts.
Inspect finished products for quality and uniformity.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and workspace.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of powder coating equipment and processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect work for quality.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and move parts as required.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and production procedures.
Work Environment:
This position requires standing for long periods, lifting and moving materials, and working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to powders, chemicals, and machinery.
