Skilled Operator II
Location: Byron Center, MI
Pay: $20 $22/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential
Position Summary
Arrow Staffing is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Skilled Operator II to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and helping drive efficient production. The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and set up production equipment according to job specifications
Understand and follow manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures
Support production flow to ensure orders are completed on time
Verify product specifications including material, size, weight, density, and shape to meet customer requirements
Monitor output to maximize yield and minimize scrap
Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment as needed
Enter and track production data in ERP systems (PeopleSoft preferred)
Report production metrics and communicate issues to supervisors
Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and meet production goals
Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and procedures
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
Experience operating machinery and performing basic troubleshooting
Ability to work across multiple production areas
Strong mechanical aptitude
