Location: Yucaipa, CA
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7am 3:30pm
Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $18.50-$24.00/hr. Depending on Experience
Arrow Staffing is hiring for a growing engineering and manufacturing company seeking an Order Fulfillment / Production Planner to join their team. This position is responsible for coordinating production schedules and resources to help ensure customer orders are completed and delivered on time.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, inventory, order fulfillment, supply chain, or ERP systems who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating with multiple departments.
What You'll Do
Plan and schedule production activities based on customer requirements and available resources.
Review manufacturing documentation to determine material requirements and production sequence.
Schedule and monitor customer jobs throughout the production process.
Use ERP systems to monitor production activity, inventory, and job status.
Monitor production schedules and identify potential delays or scheduling conflicts.
Help establish production priorities and provide updated commitment dates.
Monitor exceptions and assist with recovery plans when production falls behind schedule.
Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Fulfillment teams.
Communicate potential material shortages, equipment issues, staffing concerns, or other obstacles that could impact delivery.
Provide proactive updates regarding production status and customer-impacting issues.
Help ensure production commitments and on-time delivery goals are met.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, order fulfillment, supply chain, or a similar environment preferred.
High School Diploma/GED preferred; college coursework is a plus.
ERP experience preferred; experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to track multiple jobs and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working independently while coordinating with multiple departments.
Basic to intermediate math and Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and periodically walk throughout the facility.
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
Must be comfortable viewing a computer monitor and entering information accurately.
May periodically walk to different areas of the manufacturing facility.
Occasionally required to push up to 30 lbs.
Manufacturing environment may include exposure to noise, moving mechanical equipment, oils/solvents, fumes, and odors while following required safety procedures and PPE.
