Location: Rialto, CA.
Pay: $25 - $27/hr. DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM | Must be able to occasionally will work 6am-2:30pm

Position Summary
Arrow Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Tape Edge Operator for a mattress manufacturing company in Rialto, CA. This position is responsible for operating a tape edge sewing machine to securely stitch and finish mattress edges while maintaining high quality standards and production goals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating industrial sewing equipment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Duties
Operate an industrial tape edge sewing machine to sew and bind mattress edges.
Position, lift, and maneuver mattresses onto the tape edge machine.
Align mattress panels, borders, and tape for accurate stitching.
Rotate and feed mattresses through the machine to complete the perimeter.
Adjust machine settings including stitch type, speed, and thread tension as needed.
Inspect finished mattresses to ensure stitching quality and identify defects.
Perform routine machine cleaning, maintenance, and minor troubleshooting.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Assist with other production or assembly duties as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience operating a Tape Edge Machine in mattress manufacturing is required
Experience operating industrial sewing equipment in upholstery or manufacturing environments may be considered
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to make minor machine adjustments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Dependable with excellent attendance.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for the entire shift.
Frequently lift, push, pull, and maneuver mattresses weighing 50 lbs. (or more with team assistance.)
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
Comfortable working around industrial sewing equipment and manufacturing machinery.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed.
Work Environment
Manufacturing facility with exposure to industrial sewing machines, fabric, foam, adhesives, and production noise. Required PPE may include hearing protection and other safety equipment.
