Role Title: Machine Technician
Location: Yucaipa, CA.

Position: Machine Technician
Shifts: 1st - 7am to 3:30pm
2nd - 3:30pm to Midnight
Pay-rate: $18-$25+ Depending on Experience, Temp to hire
When Hired: Medical Benefits, 401K, PTO
Job Duties:
Perform machining operations on metal and plastic parts according to quality and production standards.
Operate machines, including startup, basic controls, lubrication, and material handling.
Inspect parts using tools such as microscopes, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
Follow basic principles of the quality management system.
Read and understand technical drawings, defects, and sorting procedures.
Work according to traveler sheets and written work instructions.
Complete end of shift tasks, machine teardown, and housekeeping duties.
Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and emergency procedures.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED; technical machining education preferred.
1 year prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English.
Knowledge of basic shop math.
Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, microscopes).
Must be able to push up to 50 lbs., have good eyesight and fine hand dexterity, and distinguish colors.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and around loud machinery.
Knowledge and Abilities: Interprets instructions both written and oral. Works in a team environment to resolve work issues. Knowledge of basic shop math. Communicates effectively in English.
Education and Experience: Minimum High School Diploma or GED with a technical education such as a machining school. Previous work experience in manufacturing preferred.
Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally exert push force up to 50 pounds, must have good eyesight and hand dexterity, and able to identify and distinguish colors.
