Job Description

Position: Encampment Resolution Case Manager

Type of position: Direct Hire
Classification: Nonexempt Hourly, Full Time (32-40 hours per week)

Starting Pay: $25.00/Hour

Summary

Family Service Association of Redlands is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to provide case management, housing navigation, and wraparound services within a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and client-centered framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments and create individualized housing stability plans.

  • Assist clients with securing housing, negotiating with landlords, and completing documentation.

  • Provide ongoing case management to ensure housing retention and self-sufficiency.

  • Connect clients to benefits, employment services, behavioral health, and other resources.

  • Collaborate with local agencies, shelters, landlords, and service providers.

  • Maintain accurate case notes, data entry, and compliance documentation.

  • Conduct home visits, outreach, and follow-ups to support housing stability.

  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and case conferences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or equivalent experience considered.

  • 2+ years of case management, housing navigation, or homeless services experience.

  • Knowledge of housing systems, landlord/tenant law, and supportive housing programs.

  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and crisis intervention skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • HMIS proficiency preferred.

  • Valid driver s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally.

Work Environment

  • Fieldwork required, including home visits and community meetings.

  • Occasional evening/weekend hours.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Requires fingerprint clearance, drug screen, TB test, and proof of auto insurance.

This is a 100% grant-funded position with a strong possibility of renewal. Continued employment is contingent on future funding.
