Customer Support Specialist
Pay: $20.00 $22.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to serve as a primary point of contact between customers and internal teams. This position manages customer orders, provides updates, and helps ensure accurate and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
Process purchase orders and quotes within the ERP system.
Manage a high-volume shared email inbox and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
Enter and confirm orders within customer SAP systems.
Generate and send order confirmations.
Track open orders and communicate shipment updates, backorders, delays, and delivery schedules.
Update order information in E2 and customer SAP systems.
Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and shipping teams to meet customer requirements and delivery commitments.
Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments to resolve issues and provide timely follow-up.
Create and maintain customer profiles, product information, contacts, tax certificates, and quotes in QuickBooks and E2.
Assist with customer meetings and provide order status information as needed.
Follow safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Experience with ERP systems, SAP, E2, or QuickBooks is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, walk through a production facility, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
