Production Associate Bookbinding
A well-established commercial bookbinding and finishing company in the Grand Rapids area is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Associates to join its production team.
This position supports daily bindery operations and plays an important role in ensuring finished products meet quality and customer specifications.
Pay: $18+ per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday Friday | 6:00 AM 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Assist with bookbinding, finishing, and production processes
Operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, collators, and binding machines (training provided)
Feed materials into machines and remove finished product
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Package, label, and prepare completed jobs for shipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Support other production areas as needed
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 40 50 lbs as needed
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and cross-train
