Position Highlights:

• Location: Riverside, Ca

• Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm Mon - Fri

• Pay: $22 an hour DOE

• Type of Position: Temp to Perm

What you need to be considered:

• Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints

• 2-year technical degree or certificate from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent)

• 3+ years of relevant experience with 2D and 3D mechanical drafting and designing using Solidworks and Autodesk products

• Strong PC and CAD skills, as well as efficiency in utilizing computer software to complete design assignments.

• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD

• Ability to interpret and apply guidelines from various sources including but not limited to the FDA, USDA, Code of Federal Regulations, CSA, and EU/CE directives and harmonized standards.

• Familiar with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) concentrating in food handling processes.

• Be able to work overtime

• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

A Day on the Job:

• Drafting and creating accurate 3D models for complex packaging machines

• Developing detailing designs using SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD

• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, or drawings.

• Routine engineering tasks such as entering data into forms, EDMS and Avante

• apply design principles related to machinery that packages or handles food products
