A local manufacturing company in Redlands is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team! The company has been in operation for over 60 years. They manufacture environmental monitoring instrumentation for cleanrooms in controlled and regulated environments.

Shift: Monday thru Friday, temp to hire

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay-Rate: $18/hr.

Education and Experience

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer a 2-year Associate of Science degree in electronics or computer science, or a related field from a regionally accredited university.
• Prefer 2+ years exposure to electronics.

Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend basic English, with strong math skills.
• Experience using electronic lab equipment: multimeters, oscilloscope, etc.
• Must be able to follow procedures, understand and comprehend highly technical concepts.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Calibrate all instruments currently in manufacture, and the Intermediate Technician must be able to calibrate some of company's legacy instruments
• Possess intermediate knowledge of electronics and electronic principles
• Provide customer technical support as needed
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
• Must maintain a clean and organized work area
• Must follow all procedures established for ISO 9001 and ISO 17025
• Must complete calibration documentation accurately and in compliance with GDP
• Performs basic repairs and preventative maintenance
• Maintain labor efficiency standards as applicable
• Maintain excellent attendance
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. from the floor to chest high
• Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time required
• Must be able to conduct fine-hand manipulations.
