Inventory Analyst



Local company in Beaumont is looking for Iventory control coordinator and performing a variety of assignments and tasks to inventory in an warehouse environment. This position requires strong computer skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable using web-based warehouse management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

1st shift, 6am-3:30pm, $18-$22 DOE, Temp to perm

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Manage control procedures and control and analysis of inventory movement;
• Perform plan cycle counts as well as unplanned counts to reconcile receiving/shipping discrepancies;
• Perform daily inventory counts;
• Match items and quantity to the system;
• Research and reconciliations of discrepancies;

Experience and Education

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Prefer at least 6 months of previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse inventory control position;
• Previous cycle count experience is strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Forklift certification experience not required but a plus
• Accurate data entry and good organization skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• High school level math, reading and writing skills
• Good communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Intermediate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Must be flexible, adaptable and to learn new methods and procedures as requested or required to meet company and customer needs
