Job Summary

Arrow Staffing seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client s team. This individual will play a crucial role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track expenses, and manage customer and vendor accounts.

• Job Cost Reports: Provide detailed job cost analysis for ongoing projects.

• Payroll Management: Prepare and process weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

• General Ledger Entries: Post journal entries and reconcile accounts on a monthly basis.

• Financial Reporting: Generate accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring budgets and tracking variances.

• Tax Preparation: Support preparation for annual tax filings, coordinating with external CPAs as necessary.

• Compliance & Record-Keeping: Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

• Collaboration: Work closely with management and external accountants to ensure the company's financial health.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor s degree preferred).

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction or remodeling industry.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), Google (Docs and Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information with integrity.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with payroll systems, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in job costing or project-based accounting.

• Familiarity with industry-specific software.

• Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar certification.
