Temp to hire, 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm, M-Fri

Salary: $27 an hour.

Shall have no fewer than five years experience in an occupational function that has direct relationship to weldments being fabricated to specified code, other standard, or contract and shall be directly involved with one or more of the following functions:

1. Design. Preparation of plans and drawings for weldment construction

2. Production. Planning and control of welding operations such as procedures, equipment, materials, or personal involved in weldment fabrication.

3. Construction. Performance as a welder, fitter, or other Function in the fabrication or erection of weldments.

4. Inspection. Detection and measurement of weld discontinuities or verification of fabrication requirements.

5. Repair. Repair of weldments.

6. must obtain an AWS B5.2

7. Have a minimum of 5 yrs. experience.

Alternate to the above requirements Post high school education is defined as any of the following:

5. Associate or higher degree in engineering, engineering technology, physics, or sciences.

6. Engineering/technical school courses successfully completed in a curriculum that can be applied to (1) above.

7. Trade/Vocational school courses in a curriculum related to welding.
