Starting Pay: $19.00/HR. +
2nd shift, 3pm-12midnight must be flexible with hours
A day on the Job:
As the Quality Control Lead Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our sheet metal manufacturing processes. Your expertise will guide daily activities, foster team growth, and ensure that products meet customer needs and exceed expectations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Daily Coordination and Training: Lead, coordinate, and oversee the daily activities of the quality control team. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure inspectors are equipped with the skills needed for effective quality assessments.
Quality Requirement Adherence: Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure that all products meet quality requirements and comply with established standards. Address any deviations promptly and implement corrective actions.
Customer Needs Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements. Collaborate with relevant teams to align quality control processes with customer expectations, ensuring products consistently meet or exceed specifications.
Dimensional Metrology: Apply your expertise in dimensional metrology to evaluate and assess the geometric characteristics of machined parts and products. Utilize advanced measurement tools and techniques to verify compliance with design specifications.
Geometric Characteristics Assessment: Thoroughly assess various geometric characteristics of products, including length, width, height, angles, perpendicularity, roundness, flatness, position, shape profiles, surface characteristics, edge sharpness, thickness, and uniformity.
Precision Verification: Utilize precision measurement instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify the accuracy of measurements and ensure that products adhere to required specifications.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and identify root causes of quality issues, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
