Press Operator Needed in Kentwood Michigan

Arrow Staffing is currently looking for motivated candidates to operate and maintain printing and folding equipment to produce high-quality, bindery-ready bundles that meet customer specifications.

Shift:

• 11:00pm to 7:00am

Pay:

• $18 to $20

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify work orders for correct substrate, bind type, ink color, and run lengths.

• Set up and operate machines for quality printing and folding.

• Perform quick, efficient job changeovers and machine setups.

• Inspect printed materials for quality and ensure bindery specifications are met.

• Manage waste disposal and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Complete preventative maintenance and assist with minor repairs.

• Train and oversee assistants to ensure proper operation and safety.

• Communicate effectively with team members and shifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• One year of printing experience preferred.

• Basic math, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret work orders.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 20 lbs. constantly.

• Work in noisy, high-temperature environments and tight spaces.

• Perform repetitive motions and stand or sit for prolonged periods.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Office and email communication.

• Familiarity with tools and equipment like pallet jacks, hand tools, and vacuum lifts.
