Payroll Representative
Job Description
We re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Representative to manage multi-state, semi-monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key tasks include handling adjustments, audits, and new hire processing, while supporting employee inquiries. Ideal candidates have at least one year of high-volume payroll experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong organizational skills. Schedule: M- F: 8:00a -5:00p
Fully onsite
Pay Range: $25-$27
Responsibilities
Process semi-monthly multi-state payroll by following policies and procedures, make recommendations for process improvement
Enter garnishments, timesheet adjustments, and other one-time changes to payroll
Resolve payroll discrepancies
Perform audits to ensure accuracy of payroll
Process new hires and separations
Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests
Maintain confidential payroll information
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Requirements
Be a self-starter who is able to use sound business judgment in carrying out assigned tasks
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Access
1+ years of high-volume payroll experience, preferably with a top tier HCM payroll system
Strong attention to detail with the ability to be responsible for more than one task at a time
Strong customer service skills, team oriented, flexible, and have the ability to work with strict deadlines
High school diploma
