Medical Machine Operators Needed!

Arrow Staffing is currently hiring for a medical manufacturing company in Grand Rapids. This machine operator team member will need to have previous machine operating or inspecting experience. You will be working with medical parts, so skills in paying close attention to detail are important.

Schedule:

• 3rd Shift 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Some overtime may be required on the weekends

Pay:

• 3rd Shift - $18.75 per hour

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-year previous machine operating or similar related experience
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movement
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
• Ability to stand on your feet for a full 8-hour shift
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week with occasional possible overtime on weekends
• Ability to see with or without corrective lenses for product and safety issues
• Ability to hear and react to alarms up to 100 feet away for safety issues
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties:

• Monitor and operate automatic and manual machinery efficiently in order to meet production standards
• Retrieve product from machines and assemble efficiently and quickly while meeting quality expectations
• Carefully inspect and measure all parts according to blueprints and specifications
• Follow all department procedures, expectations, and safety guidelines
• Work with other machine operators and support staff
• Understand department goals and objectives and participate in advancing them
