An Engineering Company is seeking a Facility Compliance Manager to join their team. Salary: $41,600 - $72,800 DOE
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
The Facility Compliance manager will manage and maintain the organizations security of the premises, property, and personnel access. Participate as a key member of the facilities management team. Interacts with employees regarding general safety and security management.
Diligent and professional compliance manager responsible for ensuring our security operations and procedures comply with legal regulations and internal policies.
Maintain security of company premises, property, and personnel (all gates, doors always closed/secure).
Evaluates the effectiveness of safety and security programs.
Deter and prevent unauthorized entry while maintaining high visibility
Install and maintain CCTV cameras when/where needed
Assist Information Technology department with badge/access control programming.
Monitor internal/external vehicles, vendors, customers, visitors and employees on company premises
Submits recommendations for improvements and additions to the safety/security management program including emergency preparedness, accident prevention, general security, and risk management.
Conduct investigations of crimes against the company such as property damage, theft, prohibited items onsite.
Write reports relating to security and investigates as needed
Security escort for personnel for Human Resources related activities (investigation, terminations)
Perform First Aid and CPR when needed
Maintain confidentiality of all reports and company information
Perform all other duties as directed and assigned.
Qualifications:
Specialized knowledge of security procedures, systems and equipment.
Knowledge of criminal laws security; responsibility and procedures.
Exercise good judgment in the pursuit & investigation of personnel.
Able to understand policy and procedures related to security/safety.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft office suite or similar software. Able to manage files and electronic records.
Able to maintain a sense of integrity.
Able to be available to work a flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals both internally and externally.
Able to work in a team with co-workers to resolve issues, interpret instructions both written and oral.
Able to communicate effectively in English.
Minimum High School Diploma or GED preferred. Possession of a valid California Driver s license and CPR/First Aid certificate is a requirement of this position. Previous work experience in manufacturing setting in a safety or security role. Able to effectively communicate with individuals both internally and externally in English.
Must be able to periodically walk to other areas of the plant as well as occasionally exert push force up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder and safely operate mobile elevated work platform. Must have good eye sight and hand dexterity, and able to identify and distinguish colors.
Within safety guidelines, there may be exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes, and odors that may affect the eyes, ears, nose, throat and/or skin.
