Position Highlights:

• Location: Redlands, Ca

• Offered Pay: $19.50

• Schedule: M- F: 5:00A 1:30P Overtime as needed

Major Function:

As a welder, you'll utilize your basic fabrication and welding background to tackle a variety of tasks, including fabrication, welding, and tube bender operator duties.

Essential Duties:

• Measure and cut all sheet metal.

• Set up all equipment in tube bending and make adjustments as needed.

• Keep work area clean and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.

• Maintain high efficiency and keep up with work load.

• Must have the ability to be open-minded and to continually improve processes.

• Must be able to work in a team environment and have a positive winning attitude.

KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to read and write and speak English effectively.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

• The ideal candidate will possess problem solving skills, dependability and will observe all safety and security guidelines.

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with non-A/C working environment.

• Must be able to work around mechanical / pneumatic tools and be able to use them.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment, and be multi-tasked.

• Must be reliable, dependable and have good attendance.

• Must be able to work occasional overtime, including Saturdays as work demands.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least (6) six months experience in fabrication / warehousing environment.

• Ability to work independently.

• Candidate must demonstrate problem solving skills.

• Must have good math skills and be detailed oriented.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,

• operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Must be able to perform working conditions which includes standing, walking or bending for long periods of time, up to 8-10 hours.

• Must be able to work scheduled or unscheduled overtime when necessary to meet business demands.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
