Electronic Engineer Needed in Rancho Cucamonga
Arrow Staffing in Ontario is currently looking for Electronic Engineer for a Tactical Gear manufacturer. This is a great, temp to hire opportunity for an experienced Electronic Engineer looking for growth and a new career.
Summary of the Job:
Development, design, and testing of analog and digital communication equipment. Including but not limited to Electronic Systems, Electronics Troubleshooting, Electronic Testing Design, Project Management, Quality Focus, Document control and electronic component sourcing and vetting. Strong acoustic competency.
Starting Pay:
80k year
Schedule:
M-F 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Daily and weekend OT may be required as needed
Job Duties:
Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electronics and communication protocols.
Basic Firmware literacy
Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods, testing properties.
Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching, and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components, soliciting observations from operators.
Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, requesting repair service.
Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
Confers with Category Director to establish communication equipment s application, performance and quality standards and consults with Production Planning to obtain data to support manufacturing concerns and customer issues.
Develops and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
Train new or reassigned employees in their job functions as needed.
Secured document storage of all important data.
Provide education and training to foster a continuous improvement culture.
Works with a team to ensure ISO compliance; Monitor work in process to maintain and improve Quality designs.
Documentation of product development with the used of approved processes.
Look for opportunities and implement improvements in Safety, Quality and Productivity
Leads the production team in all continuous improvement and lean efforts to establish a true lean culture; Work as a team to help facilitate improvements.
Assist with material ordering and material availability concerns.
Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate sign offs
Examine all machinery, tools, and equipment for proper functioning.
Maintain cleanliness and working order.
Complete work of a highly critical or sensitive nature as necessary
Analyze issues and solve problems.
Conduct Safety Risk Assessments with the SHE Team
Travel up to 10%
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain ideas, plans and processes in a one on one or group format.

Five (5) plus years relevant experience
Education:
Bachelor s degree in electronic engineering or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Comprehension and development of electronic schematics

PCB root cause and root cause counter measure ability
Strong electronic competency (low voltage)
Electronic equipment maintenance
