Job Position: Customer Service Rep
Location: Ontario, CA 91761
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.
Shift: 1st M-Thursday 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
Description: To provide excellent customer service to customers while working under the direct supervision of the sales/customer service manager. This includes, but is not limited to, responding to inquiry calls or emails efficiently, processing customer orders, monitoring and providing status to the customer as needed from receipt of their order to the final shipment of product, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and customer service inquiries
Build sustainable relationships & trust with customer accounts through open communication
Provide professional and timely communication as needed regarding order status with customer, manufacturing, outside process clerk, shipping, VP Operations and Sales
Receive, review and write up customer orders including inventory/stock check
Provide customer with accurate, valid and complete information using the right methods/tools
Forward requests for quote to sales
Expedite manufacturing / outside processes as needed
Review shipping report, pull order packet, write up, enter and print packing slips
Update customer delivery requirements as needed
Cross train for each desk in the Customer Service Dept

Required knowledge, skills and abilities
Minimum experience 4 years as customer service representative
Must have a working understanding of inventory control
Excellent written and verbal communication
Computer literate, 40 wpm, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook or equivalent
Ability to prioritize orders based on customer demand
Ability to understand and professionally resolve problems as they arise
