Accounts Receivable Specialist
Team: Finance | Works With: CSR, Systems, Leadership
Mission Statement
To manage all aspects of the Accounts Receivable (AR) collections and processes, ensuring accurate and efficient billing, deposits, refunds, and collections to support the financial health of the organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
Deposit Pro:
Process daily check, credit card (Braintree), and PayPal deposits
Reconcile, research, and resolve posting errors
Refund Wrangler:
Handle refunds (checks, cards, credits) with precision
Track UPS refund checks and resolve discrepancies fast
Billing Boss:
Run weekly invoices & monthly statements (Towne Mailer)
Answer billing questions within 24 hours
Create custom bills in NetSuite
Collections Communicator:
Reduce aging balances with reports & regular follow-ups
Make friendly collection calls
Team up with CSR to resolve past-due accounts
AR Analyst:
Share insights, trends, and monthly reports with leadership
Collaborate with AP & CSR to improve AR processes
Keep an eye on Slack & customer cases
What You Bring:
Sharp eye for detail and problem-solving
Confidence with Excel, Google Sheets, and NetSuite and QuickBooks
Team player, quick learner, and self-starter
Comfortable picking up the phone when needed
Passion for process improvement
