Arrow Staffing is hiring for a plumbing supply company in the Grand Rapids area. This team member will assist with the loading, unloading, and machine operations required to meet customer expectations and fulfill company needs. Steel toe boots are required.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 2 PM 1:30 AM (some OT expected)

Starting Pay: $18 per hour

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Reliable transportation and attendance

• Ability to pass a drug screen

• Previous knowledge of machine shop equipment

• 3 years lathe operation experience or equivalent

• Previous welding experience preferred but not required

• Ability to multitask and easily adapt to changing situations

• Basic math skills

• Great communication skills

Certifications/Licenses:

• Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment.

Job Duties:

• Run lathes and perform machine shop operations

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the foreman.

• Use care in handling of all materials and products

• Perform preventative machine maintenance and minor repairs.

• Provide a positive customer experience

• Maintain a clean workspace and equipment

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
