As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient shipping of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling, documentation, and compliance with shipping regulations and requirements.

Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspecting packages for damages or discrepancies.

Utilize shipping software and systems to generate shipping labels, track shipments, and update inventory records.

Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.

Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate order fulfillment, resolve shipping issues, and maintain open lines of communication.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all shipping activities, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.

Conduct periodic inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and identify any discrepancies or shortages.

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shipping area, including the proper storage and organization of shipping supplies and materials.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols when handling and moving heavy or hazardous materials.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in shipping and logistics, preferably within a warehouse environment.

Familiarity with shipping software and systems, including generating shipping labels and tracking shipments.

Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office applications.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
